Sleek Emerald-Cut Diamond Solitaire

Plante Jewelers

An enchanting emerald-cut diamond is the star of this simple, elegant engagement ring. The emerald-cut was all the rage when it was first shown in the 1920s.  Characterized by long, flashing step-cut facets, an emerald-cut diamond is the epitome of art deco glamour.

Pierre chose the emerald-cut diamond to be set into the ring.  The natural diamond is earth-mined and weighs .85 carats, with GIA G/SI1 color/clarity grades.  The diamond is accompanied by a GIA report.  Pierre chooses each diamond for its scintillating sparkle, brightness and proportioning.

Designed and crafted by luxury jewelry house A.Jaffe, this ring took over 80 hours to fashion, with many extra steps taken to make sure the ring is perfect is every way and will last a lifetime.

The ring itself is crafted in 14 karat white gold, with a narrow shank and A.Jaffe's signature "quilted" interior.  The quilted interior allows for slight fluctuations in finger size, due to temperature and the seasons.  The diamond is secured in four prongs, which are ample enough to protect the corners of the diamond.  Hidden as an intimate surprise in the gallery of the center setting is a surround of tiny, sparkling diamonds.  These diamonds have a total weight of .06 carats, with GIA G-H/SI1 color/clarity grades.

The ring is a size 6 and can be sized up or down.
